The Construction Safety Council was established to deliver a strategy that would lead the construction industry into a safer future. As part of this, they have set a common standard as an industry through the ConstructSafe scheme.
The ConstructSafe scheme is the first of its kind in New Zealand. It is based on international best-practice frameworks and sets a benchmark for health and safety competency.
ConstructSafe is not a training course; it helps to ensure that training programmes meet the needs of the construction industry.
The ConstructSafe Tier 1 Test covers knowledge of onsite health and safety and provides a consistent and transparent way to independently check the competency of any worker, trade specialist, supervisor, or manager on site, regardless of their employer. It provides reassurance that those working on site are competent and safe.
Fleet Review Services is a ConstructSafe Certified Testing Centre.
The test is taken under supervision, takes approximately 40-60 minutes and can be done onsite. Tests costs NZ$140 plus GST - however please enquire for special group pricing of 12 or more.
